Tez has an infectious enthusiasm for guitar and is a fantastic teacher. He tailors his lessons to your goals as a student. For me, arriving at SGL with a rudimentary background in guitar, Tez has helped me to develop an array of guitar techniques, and improve my understanding of the instrument so I can try to ‘play’ the instrument rather than recite memorised pieces. Tez’s ability as a guitarist alone is almost as good as his teaching. Lessons are carefully curated to each students interests, leaving you feel reasonably challenged but inspired after every session. This has given me the drive and confidence myself to have taken an interest in teaching, with Tez himself acting as a mentor. Tez is a great teacher and a great inspiration to me. In a relatively short time he's taught me so much and really helped me improve my playing. He takes a really structured approach and makes the lessons really fun and interesting. He takes time to understand what I'm seeking to achieve and tailors the lessons around my goals.
